InMotion_Banner_Burien This summer and fall, King County Metro is partnering with WABI Burien, Discover Burien, and local businesses* to help you use more human-powered transportation, more transit, and a little less gas. “Sign up to track your travel trips and you’ll get a FREE two-week ORCA unlimited ride pass and be eligible to earn other rewards!” reads an announcement. Starting at the end of July, join Burien In Motion and pledge to switch at least two drive-alone trips a week to another travel method. Choose which options you want to know more about and Burien In Motion will send you information on walking, biking, transit, ridesharing options, or ACCESS transit (for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities), along with an ORCA card good for two weeks of unlimited travel. Stay tuned to The B-Town Blog] for more information on how to sign up! Track your trips online (or request a postcard to send in your trip records) for the opportunity to earn rewards. The more trips you change from driving alone to walking, biking, or using transit, the more chances you’ll have in drawings, including for a very special grand prize! Who is eligible? To sign up for Burien In Motion, you need to be 16 or older and either live or work in Burien. In Motion programs are also running this summer in Burien, Shoreline and Northwest Seattle–see for information on programs in other areas. No car? No problem! If you’re already a frequent walker, cyclist or transit user, we still want you involved! We also have rewards and information for non-drivers. *Want to get involved?
