Discover Burien’s “Miracle on 152nd & 153rd Street” will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., kicking off a season full of fun.
“Shop local for all your holiday needs in Burien!”
There are many activities this year, starting with a Mimosa Walk from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Enjoy a variety of mimosas throughout Downtown Burien. Get your tickets early as it will sell out quickly here.
Support Burien shops by picking up a “Shop Local” bingo card and fill it out as you shop for prizes. Then end the day with a FREE screening of “The Grinch” film in Town Square Park.
There’s also a Blanket and Coat Drive happening.
SANTA PHOTOS AT TIN ROOM
Be sure to make time to see Santa Claus in B-Town and get a photo at the Tin Room. They will be collecting cash and physical donations for the Highline Area Food Bank. Christmas cards, keepsake ornaments and more will be available from their volunteer photographer, Clover Laine Photography with a portion of every purchase benefitting the food bank. In addition to the photographer’s booth, the Tin Room will be hosting small business pop-ups for Dan the Sausageman and a local candle company.
COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS SCAVENGER HUNT
Also starting on Saturday, Nov. 26 is the “Countdown to Christmas Online Scavenger Hunt” – your chance to win daily by guessing the location of an item in a Burien business that Discover Burien photographs.
“Each day on Facebook we will have a photo of an item within a Burien business that you guess what business it comes from. Everyone who answers correctly with be in the contest and a random winner will be selected for that day. It’s a chance to win gifts cards from local businesses, not necessarily the one you are guessing on. Check out Discover Burien’s Facebook page daily.”

Let’s not overlook the Annual Cookie Crawl on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. as you start at the Discover Burien office to get your map and reusable bag to fill with cookies from local participating businesses. This is a fun event for the entire family. Tickets are now on sale here.
