EDITOR’S NOTE: Some returns within this post have been updated from the WA State Secretary of State results page over the King County Elections one.
The first round of results were released for Tuesday’s (Aug. 6, 2024) Primary Election, and local leaders so far include Tina Orwall and Mia Su-Ling Gregerson for Legislative District No. 33, as well as Emily Alvarado and Joe Fitzgibbon for Legislative District No. 34.
In the U.S. Senate race defended by incumbent Maria Cantwell, perennial local candidate Goodspaceguy received 8,906 votes, placing him 8th of 12, so he won’t advance.
