FOLLOWUP: The Burien Police Department is reporting that the felony suspect that we posted about last Wednesday (April 29), has been found and arrested: 1908444_601153356690660_522316221395430761_n 11010002_601153293357333_2272375873196349566_n Police say he was wanted as a suspect for stealing tools from a tool truck in the 1400 block of So. 116th. “The day we put the post up, the tips started coming into our detectives,” Burien Police said Monday (May 4). “Sure enough, the suspect was identified and we alerted our officers to be on the lookout (we call that a BOLO).” On Saturday morning (May 2), a Burien officer spotted a motor home the suspect was believed to be living in and placed him into custody. The suspect admitted to the theft and his motor home was impounded so police could apply for a search warrant, “hoping we could recover some of the stolen property.” “Thanks to everyone who shared the BOLO and for those who called us with tips!” police added. “Nice job Detective Skaar, Deputy Thomas and Deputy Miller for contributing to the case. This is a partnership, the cops and the residents working together. We couldn’t do it without you!” Here’s a video report on this case: ]]>

  2. Good job catching the burglar! Now let’s see how long it takes to prosecute and how long he stays behind bars.
