Girl Scout Troop #40103 – based out of the Mary’s Place Family Center shelter in Burien – will gain fun and learn leadership and life skills while selling Girl Scout cookies to the community.

The Troop will have a drive-thru for sales at Mary’s Place in Burien, and will also sell cookies outside of Molly Moon’s Ice Cream.

They also have an online cookie sales page where cookies can be ordered and shipped.

Their goal is to sell 2,000 boxes of cookies, with proceeds going towards a camping trip being planned by the troop members.

“Selling cookies and participating in the Girl Scouts is an exciting opportunity for girls and young women experiencing homelessness to set and achieve goals, learn leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships that can be continued once they move into housing,” organizers said.
