GO with HUGO 🗳️ VOTE HUGO! by November 4th
My work in Burien is not done. Re-elect Hugo Garcia to Position 1, Burien City Council.
If you have not yet voted in the 2025 general election, please do so today. Your vote is your voice; it determines how our city will be governed. Every single vote matters. Our elections are often decided by hundreds of votes, not thousands or tens of thousands.
As an immigrant from Mexico who was raised here since childhood, my parents and brothers made Burien our home before it even became a city. We were raised by a restaurant worker and a school lunch lady, so I know firsthand how hard it is for families to make ends meet. It’s that lived experience that guides how I’ve voted and how I will continue to lead for all the people of Burien.
My priorities include:
- Housing and affordability
- Support for workers, small, and micro-businesses
- Improving infrastructure and public services
- Defending Burien against Trump-era attacks

As Representative Pramila Jayapal said:
“Hugo Garcia brings sound principles and a deeply rooted understanding of the Burien community to the council. He has been a strong, steady advocate for the issues impacting working families. His lived experience as the only immigrant to serve on the council brings a much-needed perspective, ensuring that all Burien residents are heard and represented.
“Hugo’s work experience developing a diverse business community in South King County, along with his service on Burien’s Business & Economic Development Partnership and Planning Commission, make him highly and uniquely qualified to lead with intention as our city grows.”
I would be honored and humbled to receive your vote for my re-election.Vote Hugo Garcia for Burien City Council Position 1.
