King County Fire District No. 2’s annual Holiday Outreach – which serves 25 local families holiday food and gifts – will run through Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023.

Firefighters will be purchasing food for the 25 families with monetary donations that they receive through that date – and YOU can help by donating.

TriMed Ambulance has donated toys for all of the families again this year.

“This is an amazing gift to the community and our annual outreach will truly make a difference in our community because of this generous donation,” Captain George Stoess told The B-Town Blog.

Every year the department requests families to sponsor that live within their response area from Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.

For more info, call the department at 206-242-2040.

Cash and checks can be dropped off at King County Fire District No. 2’s Headquarters Fire Station #28, located at 900 SW 146th Street in Burien (map below).
