A B-Town Blog news story that featured eyewitness video of a shooting in a Burien McDonald’s parking lot was our most popular story in 2025, according to a Google Analytics report covering Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2025.
The 2025 report shows that overall, The B-Town Blog was read more than 1.3 million times, reaching over 528,000 individual readers across the year. That’s around 44,000 readers per month…not bad for a city with around 52,000 residents!
The most popular individual article we published in 2025 was “VIDEO: Eyewitness footage shows chaos during Tuesday afternoon shooting in Burien McDonald’s parking lot” posted on Nov. 26, which was viewed about 236,500 times.
The closure of The Pancake Chef restaurant after 65 years came in second with just over 100,000 readers, highlighting how deeply local history resonates (the restaurant has since reopened with a new owner). Our post also inspired wide coverage of this historic news on local TV stations and podcasts.
