openingnight-image1 The Highline Bears will open their 2016 season against the Langley Blaze on Saturday, May 28, 2016, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. The Bears will be led by new manager Rich Linnros, along with an array of returning and new players. The Bears entire game schedule has now been released and posted on their website and Facebook page.

Season tickets are $70 for one ticket or $130 for a pair of tickets. The Bears hope to break even more league and stadium attendance records this season. Last season, opening night drew upwards of 800 fans and their average attendance for home games was well over 400. Their 2016 schedule will include 13 home games with a possibility of two more being added. 2016HB_GameScedule_PrintVersion The team will also return to Kelowna, BC for the Canada Day International Tournament to defend their title. The team will play all 8 teams in the Pacific International League, along with opponents from the Northwest Collegiate League and the Puget Sound Collegiate Baseball League, to name a few.
