The Highline Community Symphonic Band will celebrate pets and their people with a free spring concert titled “ROAR! Purrfect Harmony: A Concert for Pet Lovers!” on Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Highline High School Theater.

Led by Director Corinne Smith, the performance is dedicated to animals, animal lovers, and rescue pets.

Attendees can expect a playful and heartfelt program, with donations welcomed to support Burien C.A.R.E.S. Animal Shelter.

Donations are welcome, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Burien C.A.R.E.S. Animal Shelter on behalf of the band and its patrons.

“Please join us for a ROAR of a show!” organizers said in a statement.

The Highline Community Symphonic Band is a charitable organization supported in part by the City of Burien and King County 4Culture.

Admission is FREE.
