This week, the Highline High School Alumni Foundation awarded scholarships valued at $87,000 to 23 students at a ceremony held at the school on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

The foundation was established in 1995 by a committed group of Highline graduates; some background: 

  • Its journey began in by providing ONE $500 scholarship to ONE graduating Pirate in 1995.
  • The organization has grown significantly over the past 30 years, and for 2025 the HHSAF is proud to have provided $87,000 in continuing education funding to 23 Highline High School students.
  • 2025 marks its 30th year as a Foundation and to date they have awarded a total of 515 scholarships totaling $1,308,500!
