Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien announced that it has partnered with Safeway-SeaTac to offer the Pfizer vaccine to well over 500 students and their families this Tuesday, April 20 and Friday, April 23, 2021 in the school gymnasium.
After partnering with Safeway-SeaTac on vaccinating over 100 Kennedy Catholic faculty and staff last month, President/Principal Matthew Mohs wanted to offer students over 16 years of age the same opportunity to be vaccinated at their own school. With the COVID-19 health and cleaning protocols being strongly administered since opening the campus in January, the next obvious step was to offer a vaccination clinic.
“With vaccinations now open to anyone over 16 in Washington State, we saw this as a tremendous opportunity for us to protect our students and their families,” said President/Principal Matthew Mohs. “Our goal first and foremost is to keep our students safe. We are proud to have a very diverse population of students and we wanted to make sure everyone had an equitable chance to receive the vaccination. We truly appreciate how Safeway-SeaTac has helped us take care of our Lancer Family.”
