Detectives from the King County Sheriff’s Office Special Emphasis Team from Burien’s Precinct 4, with support from Precincts 5 and 6, made a significant breakthrough in the regional fight against drug trafficking on Aug. 7, 2024.
Officers arrested a major drug trafficker in Auburn after serving search warrants in both Auburn and SeaTac.
The operation resulted in the seizure of large quantities of drugs, a firearm, and drug proceeds.
Among the confiscated items were:
- 17.62 lbs of methamphetamine
- 7.35 lbs of fentanyl powder
- 6.42 lbs of cocaine
- 68,000 M/30 pills seized
- Over $44,000 in drug proceeds
- 1 firearm
- 1 vehicle
Key to the operation’s success was the assistance of Quinn, the K-9 unit, who played a vital role in the search and recovery of the drugs.
The bust is another victory in ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region, removing harmful substances from the streets and disrupting the flow of illegal narcotics.
“Once again hard work pays off,” police said.
