The King County Sheriff’s Office announced that its Burien-based Southwest Precinct Special Emphasis Team concluded a multi-month investigation on July 14 into a major drug trafficking organization operating across King, Snohomish and Pierce counties, resulting in the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin and drug proceeds.
“The unit, including everyone’s favorite K9 Quinn, served warrants at two distribution hubs in Lynnwood,” police said.
The results:
- 38 lbs. of Methamphetamines
- 4.4 lbs. of Fentanyl powder
- 1.7 pounds of Heroin
- More than $95,000 seized in drug proceeds
- 3 suspects booked into the Snohomish County jail
The sheriff’s office said the team is dedicating this operation to K9 Vuki, who died unexpectedly this week.
