A 43-year-old Seattle man was arrested Friday morning, July 17 after Tukwila Police said he assaulted a 70-year-old man at a business, leaving the victim with head and facial injuries.
Officers responded this morning to a report of an assault at the business and found the victim injured, according to police. Police said the suspect had fled the area in a vehicle.
Special Emphasis Unit detectives located and tracked the suspect to a rental car facility in SeaTac, where he was taken into custody without incident, police said.

Based on the investigation, police said the assault is believed to have been random and unprovoked. The victim was struck from behind without warning and fell to the ground, landing on his face and suffering substantial injuries, according to police.
The suspect was booked into jail for assault, police said.
