If you saw a large police presence around St. Bernadette Church/School near Ambaum Blvd. SW and SW 128th Street in Burien Monday night, the King County Sheriff’s Office says it was related to a TAC and CNT (Crisis Negotiation Team) for a barricaded subject.

Police say that the incident occurred in the 1200 block of SW 130th Lane (map below), and police may have used the St. Bernadette parking lot as a staging area.

    • A suspect in a domestic violence incident fled into a nearby apartment of associates.
    • He was in violation of a no-contact order and had a felony warrant.
    • TAC-30 and CNT negotiated with the subject for a short time before he was arrested without incident.
    • He was booked for his $75k warrant and investigation of other potential criminal charges.
    • No persons were injured.

“The matter resolved without further incident,” Sgt. Tim Meyer told The B-Town Blog.
