Learn more about the $5,000 Burien Recovery Grant and the Working Families Tax Credit at a free workshop on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the Burien Community Center.

Hosted by Ventures nonprofit in Spanish and English, this free event will run from 6 – 8 p.m.

As we previously reported, ARPA grant funding will be available from the City of Burien this summer to support small businesses as they navigate the continuing economic impacts of the pandemic. 

Applications opened on June 20, and will continue until July 11, 2023.

Eligible businesses can apply for $5,000 pandemic recovery grants which do not need to be repaid. These grants are made possible by funding provided to the City by the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). 

Presentations will run at 6, 6:30, 7, and 7:30 p.m., and include:
