Do you like exploring the beach at low tide? Do you want to inspire a love of science, Puget Sound, and lifelong stewardship for our community?

Then join the Environmental Science Center (ESC) as a beach naturalist volunteer at Seahurst Park this summer.

“We are looking for volunteers to join our new team of beach naturalists who will be out during select low tides this summer to engage park goers, answer questions, and help folks explore safely in this unique habitat,” organizers said.

There is no experience required to join – just a passion for the marine ecosystem.

Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age to volunteer on their own, and youth ages 10-14 can volunteer with a caregiver.
