The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that on Monday (Feb. 27, 2017) at around 4:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a man shot outside the Boulevard Park Library in the 12000 block of Roseberg Ave S. (map below).

Police say that a 47-year old Seattle man had walked into the library at that location and told staff that he had been shot.

Deputies arrived and contacted the man in the library, and found that he had a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He told police he had been shot in the parking lot by an unknown person.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious injuries.

Nearby witnesses reported hearing the shot and seeing the victim and another man talking in the parking lot.

“We have limited suspect info but the victim described the suspect as a heavy set Native American male,” Sgt. Cindi West told The B-Town Blog.

Police say that the suspect vehicle is described as a gold colored SUV.
