Sadly, Michael Wines, the 33-year-old man who went missing from his parent’s Burien home on Saturday, April 6, was found deceased on April 8, 2024.

As we previously reported, Wines was last seen at his parent’s home on Saturday night, April 6 at around 9 p.m. He was expected to pick a friend up to run an errand, then go to a show in Seattle between 9:30 and 10 p.m. – but he never arrived.

His family said it was very unusual that he would just “disappear” like that, and started a large online search/awareness campaign.

His family released the following statement to The B-Town Blog this week:

“With overwhelming sadness and heavier hearts

“We share the news of the loss of Michael T. Wines

“Our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend who was taken from this earth.

“Thank you to all of our family and friends for your love and support during this difficult time.

“With love and gratitude,
“The Wines Family”

We send out all our love and sympathy to his family, friends and all those who knew Michael.
