MLK Day of Service at Arbor Lake Park will be Monday, Jan. 15, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

“Join us to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by creating healthy forests here in Burien,” organizers said. “We will be removing blackberry weeds at the park so we can replace them with indigenous plants later in the year.”

What to Bring

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and close-toed shoes. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Organizers will have tools and gloves for all.

Where to Park

Street parking along 2nd Ave. S. Please be mindful to not block the driveways on 2nd Ave S.
