A fundraiser Native Plant Sale by the Nature Stewards will be held this Saturday, Nov 4, 2023 in Burien from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m….One Day ONLY!

Fall is a great time to plant! Native plants are easy to maintain and benefit wildlife – birds, butterflies, and bees.

They’ll have both sun and shade plants.

Credit Cards and Cash accepted.

Native plants include sun-loving, shade-loving, etc. Evergreen Huckleberry, Red flowering currant, Twinberry, Deer ferns, Fringecup, Indian Plum, Western May Lily, Salal, Goldenrod, Nodding onion, Coastal strawberry, Red-twig dogwood, Cascara, Gary Oak, Western Red Cedar, Stonecrop, Douglas spirea, Serviceberry, Scouring rush, and a few non-native garden favorites including herbs.

Proceeds benefit local scholarships at the Highline Schools Foundation and the Renton Community Foundation for students pursuing Environmental Sciences at a College or University of their choice. 

This event will be held at a home located at 13257 5th Ave SW in Burien, WA (with plenty of parking):
