Gold_Star_Awards_flyer Nominations are now open for the Highline Schools Foundation’s annual Gold Star Awards, which will include both a Breakfast and Bash. This year’s theme is “We Are Highline,” which “celebrates the individuals that make up our dedicated school community, esteemed alumni, hard-working parents, forward-thinking administrators, talented teachers and brilliant, capable students,” said Gold Star Chair and Foundation Trustee Mike Yellam. “This Gold Star Season, we are honoring the powerful collaboration among all of these individuals in support of our students and schools. This is an exciting time to be part of the WE in “We Are Highline” and we look forward to this fantastic community celebration.” Highline Schools Foundation raises funds, gathers resources and builds partnerships that support all students in Highline Public Schools. The Foundation funds a myriad of needs in Highline—including classroom enrichment, technology, arts, athletics, college scholarships and outreach to the neediest of students and families.
