A group of young teenagers recently had their unlicensed motorcycles confiscated after being contacted by a Normandy Park Police officer.

Police said the officer encountered the group riding unlicensed vehicles within the city, and noted that riding “mini bikes” in Normandy Park is not allowed.

According to police, the teenagers were riding double on the vehicles and none were wearing helmets, adding to the danger.

The department said the vehicles were confiscated following contact with the group.

Normandy Park Police reminded residents that unlicensed vehicles are prohibited within the city.
