Normandy Park’s 12th Annual Winterfest will bring holiday cheer to the community on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, with festivities held at two locations:

  • Manhattan Village QFC
  • Normandy Park Towne Center

From Santa visits and holiday crafts to live music and the annual tree lighting, this year’s event promises fun for all ages.

Schedule of Events

Manhattan Village QFC

  • WHERE: 17847 1st Ave. S., Normandy Park
  • WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024: 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • HIGHLIGHTS: Families can kick off Winterfest at Manhattan Village with photos with Santa, seasonal crafts, and live performances from the Dickens Carolers.

Normandy Park Towne Center

  • WHERE: 19901 1st Ave. S., Normandy Park
  • WHEN: Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024: 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • HIGHLIGHTS: The evening program at Normandy Park Towne Center will feature the annual tree lighting ceremony, a grand entrance by Santa with a motorcade and red carpet, and a visit from the Seattle Mariners Moose, the DubSea Fish Sticks mascot, and a special guest from KOMO-TV. Attendees can enjoy free arts and crafts, a toy giveaway, and festive entertainment including choirs, holiday dancers, and live bands. Local vendors, food trucks, and holiday shopping will be on site, with activities continuing throughout the evening.

An overflow parking area will be available at Marvista Elementary School, located at 19800 Marine View Dr. SW.

Evening Agenda Highlights

  • 4 p.m.: Activities begin, including live music, food trucks, scavenger hunts, and meet-and-greets with the Mariner Moose and DubSea Fish Sticks mascot.
  • 5:30 p.m.: KOMO-TV celebrity leads the 12th Annual Lighting Countdown.
  • 5:35 p.m.: Santa arrives via motorcade, walking the 100-foot red carpet.
  • 5:45-7 p.m.: Performances by St. Francis School Choir, Irish dancers, and holiday bands.

Attendees can also purchase a Winterfest mug, imported from Germany, available at both locations during the events.
