One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 10, 2025 on Ambaum Boulevard SW, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at around 3:15 a.m. to the 11600 block of Ambaum Blvd. SW (map below) after receiving reports of a car that had crashed into a tree.
“When deputies arrived on scene, they found one person inside the vehicle who was unresponsive,” Brandyn Hull, Communications Manager for the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) told The B-Town Blog. “Aid was called, but unfortunately the person was declared deceased at the scene.”
No other vehicles were involved, and the cause of the tragic crash remains under investigation.
“A wide area search of the accident was conducted to ensure no other occupants were present or involved in the accident,” Ray Desmarais of King County Fire District #2 told us. “The single patient was left on scene with KCSO as they continued their investigation, and for later removal by the medical examiner’s office.”
The Sheriff’s Office’s Major Accident Response and Reconstruction (MARR) team responded to process the scene and determine what led to the fatal incident.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
