One person was killed in a shooting early Sunday, Oct. 25, in the 15300 block of First Avenue South in Burien (map below), according to Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).
Burien officers were dispatched to the shooting at approximately 4 a.m.
Police said a third party drove the victim to St. Anne Hospital. The 911 dispatch apparently originated at that location.
The sheriff’s office described the incident as a “contained event” and said there was no danger to the public.
KCOS’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
No additional information was available from police at the time of its statement.
