Community members are invited to explore the new Glendale Forest neighborhood park during a family-friendly open house on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event will feature forest walks, arts and crafts, free snacks, and other activities designed to help residents get to know their local green space.

The park is part of King County’s continued investment in accessible community recreation and environmental stewardship.

“Get to know your newest neighborhood park with a fun day of forest walks, arts & crafts, free snacks, and more!” organizers said in an event announcement.

Registration is recommended and available at GlendaleForest.eventbrite.com.

The park is located between 8th and 9thAve South near S. 102nd Street (map below). Street parking is available along 10th Ave S. – follow signs to the event.
