A colorful, massive new mural was painted on the side of the building that hosts Burien CARES Animal Control last week.

Created and painted by Xedouteyes (aka Drew Chinchilla), the wild new artwork depicts fantastical animals in fantastical costumes in a fun, surreal underwater/shipwreck setting, and includes a shoutout to CARES.

“It was a few days of work and a lot of going up & down on ladders, but it’s the biggest wall I’ve ever painted and I think it might be the largest mural in Burien,” Artist Xedouteyes said. “If you’re around you should check it out, it’s super rad.”
