A power outage knocked out electricity to over 7,800 City Light customers in the Burien area on Monday morning, Sept. 9, 2024.
Three outages in the area are currently shown on City Light’s outage map, and range from the Lake Burien area on the south up to Boulevard Park and White Center on the north.
The agency said the outage happened at 9:38 a.m., and estimated restoration time is 10:56 a.m. for the two bigger ones, and 5:41 p.m. for the smaller one.
City Light said that the cause for the largest outage is “tree/vegetation,” but has not yet announced the other two.
