REMINDER: The Rat City Art Walk returns this Thursday, April 16 to White Center from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring over 80 local artists and bringing an evening of art, music, food, and fun to the neighborhood.
Held every third Thursday of each month from (April – September), this free event invites the community to come together and celebrate local creativity.
Visitors are encouraged to explore businesses and venues throughout the White Center business core, each hosting artists, special experiences, and unique offerings.
To help guide the way, keep an eye out for the signature inflatable rat displayed outside participating locations.
April’s Art Walk Highlights:
- More than 80 local artists showcased at 27 locations
- Mrs. B’s Blooming Art Market, showcasing 18 local artists, flash tattoos, and music by DJ StarTropic
- Sana Sana Healing Art Show, featuring art from 32 artists at Nepantla Cultural Arts Gallery
- Rock painting with Community School of West Seattle
- Learn and play mahjong at Patrick’s Café & Bakery
- White Center Food Bank’s cookbook launch, along with art activities hosted by the White Center Library
- Live music at Tim’s Tavern featuring The Dusty 45s with special guests Joe Ross and the Birdwatchers. No cover. All ages, 6 to 9 p.m.
- New 2026 Art Walk Passport. Fill it out for a chance to win prizes
- Food and drink specials at participating businesses throughout the neighborhood:
- Salvadorean Bakery: Free quesadilla or empanada with a $20 purchase
- Nacho Mama Fry Bread: $5 Native tacos
- Randezvu Shawarma: Half size shawarma chicken $6 or beef $8
- Zeek’s Pizza: $5 slices and $5 pints
- Tomo: $5 specialty cocktails
- Puffy Pandy: $5 Ice Cream Puffy
- Not ready for the night to end? When the Art Walk wraps at 8 PM, head over to 2 Fingers Social for Night Walk, a late night gathering for artists and night owls featuring live art, vendors, a live DJ, plus food and drink specials.
