On May 31, a resident of the Emerald Green Condos in the 1800 block of S. 118th Street in Boulevard Park (map below) had gas siphoned out of her truck. Police say that the victim had been out of town, and when she returned and looked at video surveillance, saw footage of a man and woman siphoning gas from her vehicle. The suspects left in an older, black Acura, which did not have a license plate but a temporary plate in the window. “I would appreciate if you could share some photos of a couple – who I call Mr. and Mrs. Scum Bag – who siphoned gas from my truck,” the victim told The B-Town Blog. “They drive approximately a 2002 black Acura TL with a paper dealer tag (probably fake) on the upper left back window.” The suspects were spotted by the victim again around 11:30 p.m. on June 13 near the Boulevard Park library at a stop sign at S. 120th Street and 20th Ave S. “I’m pretty sure they knew I was on to them when I turned around and quickly tailed them,” she said. “Coincidentally (or not), they came back and tried to siphon more at 4:20 a.m. on June 14. Luckily I had already purchased a locking cap, so the second attempt failed. But I’m not a happy camper, and I want everyone to be alerted to this pathetic couple and possibly get some tips for the police. Any exposure you can help with would be greatly appreciated.” Here are surveillance camera photos of the suspects – if you recognize them, please contact the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206) 296-3311 and reference case #C17028148: ]]>
