A new project put together by BTB Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer, local band Trip Like Animals (featuring Mike Molner from the Tin Room) along with Audio Engineer/Producer Norm Bowler, and the current owner of the Bubbleator, Gene Achziger, have produced an historic EP called “The Bubbleator Sessions, Vol. 1,” which was recorded inside the original plexiglass sphere!

You read that right – an album was recorded live inside the historic Bubbleator from the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair!

SAVE THE DATE: FRIDAY, DEC. 14!
This one-of-kind album will officially be dropped on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, with a release party at the High Dive in Fremont. Please mark your calendars and come for a great evening of original music from a great local band!

“Please step to the read of the sphere,” is what the Bubbleator Operator would say as people loaded in. Pictured above are members of local band Trip Like Animals loading their gear into the very same sphere for the first-ever recording session, to be released Dec. 14, 2012! Photo by Scott Schaefer.
