Seattle City Light reported that around 4,000 customers lost power Friday afternoon, Mar. 13 in Burien, according to the utility’s online outage map.

As of around 1:30 p.m., power to most appears to have been restored.

The largest outage area stretched from Seahurst in the west through much of Burien and up north to Boulevard Park.

City Light said this outage began at 12:29 p.m., with the cause not confirmed, though one might guess that Friday’s surprise snow storm had something to do with it.

The outage map also showed numerous outages in nearby parts of south King County, including areas near Burien, SeaTac and Tukwila.

Really? What caused the outage you incompetent tools. What caused it? What fix if any to make sure it’s not going to happen again? You are a manopoly with no answers to those who pay your pension’s.
