The Shark Garden Fall Open House & Bake Sale – coming Saturday afternoon, Sept. 9, 2023 – is the garden’s main fundraiser for the season.
This free event will run from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Shark Garden, located at New Start High School in Burien (map below).
“We harvest berries and herbs from the garden and local chefs make jams, jellies, herb salts, and baked goods for our sale,” organizers said.
“Join us for home and chef made goodies from the garden! Buy jams, jellies, baked goods, herb salts, and more!”
Plus art, music, plants, a food truck, and family fun!

- This year they are adding a lemonade stand and family friendly art activities.
- A short program will tell visitors about the Shark Garden.
- A food truck from Now Make Me A Sandwich (voted Burien’s best bite in 2023) will also be on site to sell some of the best sandwiches in Seattle.
