Burien Parks will be celebrating the opening of the newly-restored Seahurst Park Beach with a special campout on Friday, Oct. 3 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. 
“We may not have a traditional bonfire…but the campfires will be ready for s’more making and we have lots of fun activities!” reads an announcement. “Bring your flashlights and camp chairs and enjoy the beautiful new beach at Seahurst Park!”
Here’s what to expect:

  • Join a sing-a-long around a campfire with members of The Jangles
  • Listen to Native American storytelling with Che ok’ ten
  • Enjoy activities hosted by the Environmental Science Center
  • Free s’more supplies
  • Free coffee and cocoa provided by Burien Press

Parking is available in the upper lot with shuttle service.
The park address is 1600 SW Seahurst Drive, Burien, 98166.

  1. Don’t forget it is a Burien Park. Take a bath before you come, don’t do any vigorous walking on teh trails and stay out of the low tide muck or you could get arrested for your smell.
    Help our city leaders fight crime (grime?)

    1. Not by October it wont be and thank goodness I missed that memo since I`ve been burning out back on the weekends enjoying a good smoke, some brauts and the company of friends.
