Volunteers are needed to get their hands dirty for the environment during Green SeaTac Day, set for Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to Noon at North SeaTac Park.
The event, organized by the Green SeaTac Partnership, is open to all ages and will focus on restoring the city’s urban forests.
Volunteers will help with tree planting, weeding, mulching, and other projects designed to keep the park healthy for generations to come.
Organizers say the effort is part of a broader push to improve forest health in SeaTac, where local parks provide critical habitat and green space for the community.
The event also offers an opportunity for residents to connect with neighbors and contribute to long-term environmental sustainability.
