A weekly Codependents Anonymous (CoDA) meeting is held every Friday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, located at 1005 SW 152nd Street in Burien.
CoDA is a 12-step recovery program modeled after Alcoholics Anonymous, but instead of focusing on substance abuse, it supports individuals working toward healthier and more loving relationships.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to improve relationships through recovery from codependent behaviors.
Organizers say the meeting is open to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or identity, and provides a supportive space for those seeking help with compulsive patterns that lead to dysfunctional relationship dynamics.
