Elizabeth Williams, 1935 – 2018

Elizabeth Martin Williams, age 83, passed away peacefully September 20, 2018 due to Pulmonary Fibrosis, a chronic and progressive lung disease.

She was born August 10, 1935 at 8:00 a.m. in a West Seattle Maternity home to Louise and Humbert Martin. She married her longtime friend, high school sweetheart and love of her life Donald Keith Williams, in June of 1955, who proceeded her in death in 1997.

Beth loved to love on people. An avid gardener, peripatetic and student of life, Beth’s real and abiding passions were her family and friends. Beth sought to instill in her children a zest for life, a commitment to family and friends, and the power of a smile. Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Beth is survived by her sister Louanne Sorenson; her four children Maria Williams, Russell and Becky Williams, Peggy Williams, and Laura Stahnke; her grandchildren, Jaymi Stahnke, Julia Perry, Jake Stahnke and Ryder Williams. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Please join us celebrating her life this Thursday, November 8, 2018, between 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church, 15003 14th Ave SW, Burien.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Highline Area Food Bank at www.highlineareafoodbank.org.

“I have all that I have ever wanted and/or needed. Life is so full of wonder, beauty, complexity and excitement that I love it more and more each day.”
