From our friends at WABI Burien:

The Viaduct is closed! The Tunnel is opening.

The City of Seattle has planned an event-filled weekend of Step Forward fun. PLEASE NOTE: Remaining tickets are extremely limited, generally from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. (They are FREE for the Viaduct and Tunnel walks.)You may need to get separate tickets for each of the Viaduct and Tunnel, rather than a combined ticket. Events at the hubs are open without tickets being required.

  • SATURDAY, February 2, 2019, includes an 8K Fun Run/Walk, ribbon cutting, viaduct and tunnel walks, family-friendly STEM activities, a community celebration and art festival on the viaduct.
  • SUNDAY, February 3, 2019, features a registered tunnel bike ride with Cascade Bicycle Club, WHICH IS ALREADY SOLD OUT.
