SAVE THE DATE: Northwest Symphony Orchestra will be holding their Season Opening Concert on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. – “National Parks at Benaroya,” at Benaroya Hall.

This concert is a joint presentation between the Northwest Symphony Orchestra and Washington’s National Park Fund.

There will also be an additional performance on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at the Federal Way Performing Arts and Events Center. The performance in Federal Way is especially geared towards families, and parents are encouraged to bring their kids to experience this unique and captivating classical music experience. Immediately following the family concert in Federal Way, there will be an instrument petting zoo where children will get to hold and try out instruments on stage.

Both concerts include a spectacular music and visual presentation by the Northwest Symphony Orchestra and Washington’s National Park Fund as well as stunning visuals from all three of Washington’s National Parks. The Northwest Symphony Orchestra will perform popular music by John Williams, Aaron Copland, Richard Rodgers, Richard Wagner, Antonio Vivaldi (Winter from the Four Seasons with 14-year-old violin sensation Kaia Selden), and others.

The concert also includes an appearance by the Musical Mountaineers – as featured on KOMO 4 and KING 5 television.
