Franciscan Health Systems is planning on building a new 52,000 square foot Medical Office Building at the location that formerly housed a Salvation Army Thrift Store at 16033 First Ave South.
The lot is located just south of the new CVS Pharmacy, on the west side of First Ave South, across from Burien Nissan.
Currently the building – which is listed as having 11,500 square feet – sits empty.
It was priced for sale at $1,200,000.
The lot is sized at 29,396 square feet.
Franciscan Health Systems manages the Highline Medical Center, located a few blocks to the west at 16251 Sylvester Road SW.
The City of Burien recently announced that comments about this project must be received prior to 5:00 p.m. on March 4, 2015 by the City of Burien.
