On Monday morning, July 24, 2023, a body was found at 510 SW 151st Street, near the Maverick Apartments in Burien.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said the victim died of an overdose.
No other information, including identity of the victim or what drugs caused the death, was released.
According to the dispatch, the 911 call came in at 7:24 a.m.
“My friend was walking her dog and found the body,” a resident of the Maverick told The B-Town Blog. “I didn’t know about it, but I went to Bartells at 8 and saw six police cars with their lights on, and the area was cordoned off.”
