The Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority – along with the City of Tukwila, ACME Bowling and Orion Entertainment – will be sponsoring ‘The Queen Pin Bowling Classic,’ a fundraiser for Burien Pride’s LGBTQ College Scholarship Fund.
This fun event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 7 – 10 p.m. at ACME Bowling in Tukwila, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Burien Pride Scholarship Fund.
Who will be crowned “Belle of the Balls†at the first annual Queen Pin Bowling Classic? Dress up and bowl, or wear your street clothes — we don’t care! Come for an evening of fun, frolic, music, and libation, featuring the fabulous Aleksa Manila and more incredible drag performers.
Reserve your own team of four, or be assigned to a team upon arrival. Spectator seating is also available — so if bowling isn’t your thing, you can still participate in all of the fun and festivities. Signature cocktails and food will be available for sale at the venue. Prizes will be awarded for Best Dressed, High Score, and more!
All proceeds from the event will go towards Burien Pride’s LGBTQ College Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded annually to students with financial need who identify as LGBTQ+ in Burien’s local community. The scholarship gives them the opportunity to pursue a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational program.
This event is 21 and over, and ID is required.
