The Burien City Council will be hosting a Special Meeting on public safety on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

The meeting will be hosted online via Zoom, and community members are invited to speak in small group discussions at the meeting.

Spanish and Vietnamese interpretation will be provided.

Council wants to hear from all Burien community members and people who have an interest in the well-being of the city of Burien:

    • What does public safety mean to you?
    • What gaps exist in our current public safety system?
    • What are your priorities in terms of budget?
    • What are ways public safety could be improved in Burien?

Information gathered during this process will be used to guide policy and budget decisions.

If you can’t make the meeting but want to provide feedback, the city asks that you fill out this survey with your written comment. You may submit comments and remain anonymous.

City of Burien staff will be compiling a report summarizing the feedback and presenting it to Council at a future date.
