The next Burien Film Office Happy Hour will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024 at the Tin Room Bar & Theater in Olde Burien.
This is a free event open to all, on the topic “Filmmaking in a Robust Creative Economy – Burien” with a presentation by Andrew McMasters, Co-Chair of the Burien Creative District.
McMasters will explain how the Creative District in Burien, and the independent filmmaking industry have significant overlaps, as both rely on a blend of artistic talent, creative services, and supportive infrastructure and how different elements of the creative economy in Burien might intersect with the world of independent filmmaking. Burien is building a robust Creative Economy.
