REMINDER: All are invited to join in for “episode 2” of the revamped Burien Film Office Happy Hour at the Tin Room Bar & Theater TONIGHT – Thursday, Mar. 21, 2024, from 7 – 9 p.m.

This free event is hosted by the Seattle 48 Hour Film ProjectBurien Film Festival, and the City of Burien Economic Development, and will focus on music.

Here’s more from organizers:

“Have you always wanted to include original music in your film or show and didn’t know how to go about the process? For Episode 2 we will feature the Seattle Composers Alliance’s Tara Forth who will present: “The Sonic Narrative: Finding and Working with a Composer for your Film”. Join us for a good conversation.

“Tara Forth (she/her), film/video composer and President of the Seattle Composers Alliance, will present an overview of the magical director-composer connection. In this short discussion, she will cover the basics of how to forge the creative partnership that will make your production truly one of a kind.”

Bring your questions and business cards. There will be time before and after to network and chill with fellow filmmakers.

Enjoy complimentary snacks provided by the Tin Room. Drinks are not included (don’t forget to tip the server/bartender).

Don’t miss the chance to connect with the film community and discover the benefits and opportunities of shooting films and TV shows in Burien, King County, with the support of the State.
