The Burien Police Department announced on Wednesday (June 10) that they arrested a 29-year old Everett man who believed he was going to have sex with a 15-year old girl he met on social media. Turns out though that the 15-year old girl was actually a Burien Police Detective. Oops. Police busted the man for Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes, as well as Attempted Rape of a Child in the 3rd Degree, both felony offenses. The man had made sexually explicit statements and sent nude photos of himself before he asked to meet for sex. After his arrest, he admitted he was trying to meet a 15-year old and knew his actions were illegal. Detectives seized his car and cell phone pending a search warrant. The man drove from Everett to Burien to meet the girl, intending to have sex with the child. When he arrived at the agreed-on meeting location, he was arrested by detectives. He was booked into the King County Jail and is being held on $75,000 bail. “Meeting a minor child for sex is illegal and Burien PD will not tolerate these dangerous predators,” police said. “We strongly encourage parents to chat with their kids about internet safety!”]]>

    Some things (like pedophilia) should allow back woods justice.
    Like hanging that P.O.S. from his you know whats till the coyotes come and
    pick at him and then let the squirrels bury his you know whats for winter storage.
    Actually, they should sell a form of lottery tickets for a gauntlet, lets say 50-100 winners,
    give everybody that wins a loaner taser, strip that fella and let him try and get through the line. *lol*

    1. Yes this guy is a pervert and good job of the police in catching him. But otherside some of things you mention would cause the people partaking to be criminals. Even though yes this guy could you a good beating think of what he will receive in prison. When the the other convict’s find out what he is in there for. Ahh well you can guest what will happen
      Also yes definitely parents need to talk to kids about being safe on the internet and out in public. Specially during the summer months some young girls (14-17) like to ware clothing that might put out the wrong image. Unfortunately to some older men or even some women that should know better but might not realize the girl’s age in some cases. I realize this is kinda of common sense. But things like this need to be repeated sometimes.
