Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting how a 6-month long investigation resulted in a recent major drug bust that spanned from Burien to Kent:
Illegal drug sales in our neighborhoods attract crime, an unsavory element that reduces neighborhood safety.
This recent bust is a good example of how our Special Emphasis Teams, assisted by patrol and other specialty units, are always working to free neighborhoods from this type of criminal activity.
On Oct. 12, 2020, Precinct 4 (White Center/Burien) Special Emphasis Team Detectives (SET) served two narcotics search warrants. This multi-month investigation originated in the city of Burien and ultimately led detectives to the city of Kent. For investigatory reasons, we are not sharing the address of the home.
The search warrant yielded nearly $12,000 in cash, 77 grams of cocaine, 400 suspected Fentanyl pills as well as Xanax and MDMA.
3 rifles and 3 handguns were also taken in to evidence and two, high end cars were impounded.
1 suspect was booked for investigation of Drug Possession with Intent to Deliver (drug dealing) and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
“This is great work by our Precinct 4 SET team and all who assisted:”
