Burien Police recovered a stolen vehicle on SW 112th Street and 1st Ave. South in Burien shortly before 10 p.m. on Monday night, March 6.

Police told The B-Town Blog that just before 9 p.m., a deputy was northbound on 1st Ave South and stopped at a red light at S 128th Street. As the deputy waited for the light to change he ran the license plates of the vehicle in front of him, a 2017 Nissan Altima.

The plate returned as a stolen vehicle from the Port of Seattle.

The deputy attempted to stop the car at S. 120th Street and 1st Ave South but the vehicle sped off northbound. The deputy did not chase the vehicle but could see that the vehicle continued northbound and then turned left (westbound) onto SW 112th Street.

When the deputy got to the area of SW 112 Street and 1st Ave SW he could see that the stolen vehicle was stopped in the middle of the road and appeared to have damage to the left front tire. The deputy saw that two males were running from the car and two females we still in the backseat of the car.

A K-9 track was conducted, but the two males that ran from the car were not located.

The two females were both juveniles, 15 and 16 years of age. The 16-year old female was in possession of brass knuckles and a bag of marijuana and was booked into Youth Services Center (due to prior conviction she was not allowed to be in possession of dangerous weapons.)

The 15-year old was released to her brother at the scene.

Deputies were also searching a nearby residence described as an “abandoned drug house” near SW 108th Street and 1st Ave. SW. It’s unclear if the house is connected to the stolen vehicle.

  1. So I’m sure the girls new who they were. I can’t help to wonder why you never hear of the race of these crooks. I know Burien suppresses there ILLEGAL ALIEN information so the tax payers wont learn the truth of there illegal crimes and the rate. Its obviously clear and the Burien Police are well aware of this considering that Burien is now a Sanctuary City. Nothing like brainwashed Council Members brainwashing there followers that Illegal Aliens make safer communities, which they don’t. But the crime in Burien is at an all time high and with MS-13 now residing in Burien I’m glad I got my CCW. Cant expect the police to protect me, they show up after the fact. Good Luck Burien Residents.
